Complex Excel modeling
On one of my projects, I was the market model lead. That meant I had to translate all the assumptions we gather from interviews, combine them with databases we have, and make product sales projections. This required me to use complex fomula combinations.
M&A Experience
After learning about M&A in theory during business school, I enjoyed seeing it in real life. Through one of my projects, I got to see the reality of harsh decisions that have to be made during a post-acquisition discussion. The challenge is separate business from personal matters, reason being is the acquired management is emotionally invested in their business.
